Caribbean Kids News (CKN) is de naam van een jeugdprogramma voor kinderen op de voormalig Nederlandse Antillen. Het is een programma voor kinderen tussen de 10 en 14 jaar, vergelijkbaar met het Jeugdjournaal in Nederland en Suriname.

Caribbean Kids News is een programma van de stichting Youth into Media. Het bestuur bestaat uit Gyselle Meulens-Petronia (voorzitter), Charles Grootens (secretaris), Karel Frielink, Eddy Wijngaard en Alice Romondt. Het programma is opgezet in samenwerking met de Nederlandse organisatie Free Press Unlimited (toen nog Free Voice) en de Surinaamse stichting The Back Lot uit Suriname. Voor de eerste achttien maanden ontving het programma geld van de Nederlandse overheid. Hierna moest het programma zelf voor sponsors zorgen, en daar is het dan ook nog steeds mee bezig.

Free Press Unlimited heeft verschillende jeugdprogramma’s over de hele wereld opgezet. Zo bestaan er Jeugdjournaals in Peru, Indonesie, Birma, Zambia, Zuid-Afrika en Mozambique.

Caribbean Kids News (CKN) is the name of the Youth News Programme for the Dutch Caribbean. It’s the newest kid on the block and aims to highlight children between 10 and 14. Journalists from the Dutch Antilles are making a show that is exciting and informative.

Caribbean Kids News is a program of the foundation Youth into Media. The Board consists Gyselle Meulens-Petronia (chairwoman), Charles Grootens (treasurer and secretary), Karel Frielink, Eddy Wijngaarde and Alice Romondt. The program was set up in collaboration with the Dutch non gouvernmental organization Free Press Unlimited (was then Free Voice) and The Back Lot from Suriname. The Dutch ministry of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Realations provided a grant for the first 18 months. After this, the program is responsible for its own funding. Free Voice launched kids news programs for television in eight countries all over the world, called Kids News Network. Apart from CKN,  Kids Network News consists of programs in Suriname, Peru, Indonesia, Burma, Zambia, South Africa and Mozambique.
